Vice President of A&D Marketing
As Vice President of A&D Marketing, Deborah is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with significant influencers and decision-makers throughout the Architectural and Design community. Deborah has been a key marketing contributor to KI for more than 20 years. She most recently served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing – Healthcare. She is responsible for all aspects of A&D strategy; including business development and execution of strategic business and marketing plans. Deborah holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from Bellin College of Nursing and an EMBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a licensed registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin and an Evidence-Based Design Accredited Professional (EDAC) with the Center for Health Design.
As the leader of one of the world’s top contract furniture manufacturers, KI, CEO Dick Resch has relied on innovation and determination to guide the company for more than four decades. Beginning at KI in 1964, Resch was soon promoted to Executive Assistant. Resch rose through the ranks, becoming a Vice President, Executive Vice President, President and CEO, and eventually CEO, the title he currently holds.
Vice President of Education
Jonathan Matta is KI's Vice President of Education. He champions a human centered design mindset, and believes deeply in the role that the physical space plays within activating and inspiring change in the future of learning. Jonathan is responsible for research and insight into the education marketplace, and works to guide both the KI team, along with K-12 and Higher Education institutions, on authentic design expeditions. His background is in designing learning spaces, and he has spent time learning design at Stanford University’s “d.school,” along with coursework from IDEO. Jonathan holds a MBA from Seth Godin’s altMBA program, and earned his undergraduate degree at DePaul University. His investment in creative leadership and positive disruption within education are born from his own children, which he will oft reference as “NoElle.”
Vice President of Workplace Strategy
Jonathan Webb is KI’s Vice President of Workplace Strategy. He leads KI’s strategic business unit, serving the business market. Jonathan studies workplace trends, uncovers product gaps and develops solutions with the KI team. Jonathan takes part in advanced workplace strategies and documents his findings through white papers, articles and other publications. His recent publications, Understanding Active Design: The Rise of Human Sustainability and Collegiate Design: The New Driver for Workplace Design, have put Jonathan in the media spotlight. Partnering with thought leaders like HOK, his publications cover diverse subjects including sit/stand benefits, designing training environments and defining work styles. Jonathan holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh School of Business and is a LEED accredited professional.
Government Sales and Marketing Manager
As the Government Sales and Marketing Manager, Randy Hoople brings awareness of the KI brand to Federal and State and Local Government markets. He is responsible for strategic analysis as well as guidance on product development. Randy works closely with KI’s sales team to educate customers on government market trends and contract requirements, also recommending product solutions to interior designers. He began his career with KI in 1988 and has held a variety of positions involving strategic account management and Federal sales specialist deployment. Randy is an active member of The Coalition for Government Procurement, the GSA Quality Partnership Council and the Society of American Military Engineers.
Vice President - Architectural Wall Operations
As Sr. Product Marketing Manager for architectural wall, Ryan Usiak oversees the tactical development and execution of product marketing. He continuously assesses and identifies product needs within KI’s respective markets and manages new product development. Ryan is not only responsible for salesforce development but frequently provides technical product support to customers and leads CEU presentations. Ryan began his career with KI in 2007. He has since held a variety of positions in Product Marketing covering education products, healthcare products and finally architectural wall. His background is in electrical contracting project management and sales for commercial, industrial and civil construction.
Vice President of Design & Product Marketing
Shawn Green is the vice president of design and product marketing at KI. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the design, development and growth of KI’s furniture solutions for education, healthcare, government and corporate markets. Shawn leads and inspires multiple KI design and product development teams. He utilizes his broad experience in product management, design, development and marketing to ensure KI remains adaptive and efficient, while ensuring a consistent visual language throughout the entire design process. Prior to joining KI, Shawn spent several years at Knoll, where he served as the director of storage marketing and as a director of product marketing for systems furniture. He also held product management positions at Steelcase and Trendway. Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
